Erik Szabó played a pivotal role as a late-stage founder of Carnation, a digital agency that was established in the early 2000s and grew to over 120 members. With 25 years of experience in digital communication and product development, the agency won more than 100 local and international awards, significantly impacting global brands such as Adidas, Aston Martin, and Coca-Cola. He was a board member of the Hungarian Advertising Association and the founder of the Hungarian branch of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB). Carnation was acquired by WPP, the world’s largest agency network. A few years after the exit, Erik left and made several angel investments, one of which entered the BSE XTEND market. Erik is the CEO and co-founder of Goroid Venture Studio, an IT development company, as well as White Unicorn Health/Medtech Incubator. Currently, as the Managing Director of White Unicorn, he is focused on building the Hungarian healthcare technology ecosystem and developing their investment portfolio. He also plays an active role in university innovation and startup communities.
