Anna Balázs, MD is the founding owner and CEO of Complex Medical Centre Zrt (CMC Déli
Clinics) and Medical Director of ONKOMPLEX Cancer Diagnostics and Assistance Kft.
In 2013, under her leadership, a complex private oncology care and health insurance model
based on the copyrighted ONKOMPLEX ® professional programme were introduced.
Subsequently, a personalised oncology prevention programme based on integrated risk
analysis was also launched.
As a further development of this specialised oncology profile, the main professional
objectives of CMC Déli Klinika were defined which include the prevention, early diagnosis
and establishment of treatment strategies for the most dreaded diseases (such as cancer,
cardiovascular-, metabolic- and respiratory diseases) which are made more effective by
specific bioinformatics solutions and artificial intelligence-based decision support.
She obtained her general medical degree at Semmelweis University in 1995, after which he
worked as the national/international leader of several respiratory and oncology projects,
several complex patient support and e-learning programs. Furthermore, she has been
involved in the introduction of molecular oncology diagnostics in Hungary.
