Ferenc Nagy is the medical director of the Hungarian Charity service of the Order of Malta.
He has a degree in health sciences (paramedic) and adult education.
He gained experience in the field of medicine at Erzsébet and St. Imre Hospitals in Budapest.
Working in the ICU and ER he was also responsible for implementing outreach and
resuscitation teams for the hospital. He is founding member of the Hungarian Resuscitation
Council and member of the Hungarian Society of Emergency Medicine and the European
Resuscitation Council.
He has 20 years of experience in simulation teaching and adult education. Ferenc is
interested in teaching practical skills and emergency medicine. He also served as a guest
lecturer at Semmelweis University.
Ferenc organized the pediatric ophtalmoology screening program for the 300 most
disadvantaged settlements in Hungary.
He organized the testing of the newly developed telemedicine system in Hungary. Ferenc is
interested in innovative, mobility based healthcare services.
