József Vacity was born in Baja in 1959.
He graduated from Benedictine High School of Pannonhalma in 1977.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Szeged in 1984.
He started his career as a medical doctor in Baja Hospital. He obtained a specialization in pediatrics
(1988) and otolaryngology (1992).
At Szent István University, he earned a diploma in Healthcare Management and Strategic Planning, in
2012.
From 2011 to 2016, he was the director of the Hospital in Nagyatád.
Since 2016, he has been the director of the Markhot Ferenc Hospital in Heves County.
Under his leadership, the hospital became the only one in the country to implement itemized
medicine and medical device material administration and case-level controlling in all inpatient cases.
