David Uzoni started his first company at the age of 14 and was named the ‘youngest startupper in Hungary’ by Forbes magazine. During his high school years in Kuwait, he developed an app to digitalise the local public transportation system. His project was supported by the Kuwaiti royal family. David then moved to the United States and attended Bentley University. Following his studies he founded EcoHills Kereskedelmi Kft, a company that distributes and manufactures eco-friendly products for the HoReCa industry. The company became a significant player in the Hungarian market of biodegradable straws in 3 years time. In 2017 David founded DP Innovations Kft, and started developing a digital inhalation device. The inhaler, called SPRIN, collects information about asthmatic and COPD patients’ therapy adherence and peak flow values. Based on this data SPRIN recommends a personalized dose setting for the patient in real-time. The company raised funds in several rounds and their next goal is to start the sales of SPRIN as a medical device.
