Dr. Péter Takács, MD

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Semmelweis University in 2005. He worked asa resident physician at Semmelweis University in the field of forensic medicine from 2005 to2009, and between 2010 and 2012 he was engaged in the planning and organization of drugsafety studies. Between 2012 and 2015 he worked as a health specialist at the Institute ofPharmaceutical and Health Quality and Organizational Development, later he became amedical consultant and acting regional director of the State Health Care Center. From 2015 to2017 he was head of the Department of Finance and director of Outpatient Care of North-Central Buda Centre, St. John Central Hospital Budapest. From 2017 to 2019 he headed theHealth Policy Department of the Ministry of Human Capacities. Between 2019 and 2020 hebecame acting director-general of the North-Central Buda Centre, St. John Central HospitalBudapest. Lately he was deputy director-general for Primary and Specialist Care at theNational Healthcare Service Center.

Public duties:He was president of the Hungarian Resident Association from 2005 to 2008, and between2005 and 2009 he was a member of the Board of Governors of Semmelweis University, andbetween 2007 and 2015 he was a member of the National Board of the Hungarian MedicalChamber.
