Dr. Ottó Skorán, MD

He obtained his medical degree from Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1993, after which he worked for six years at the National Institute of Cardiology in Budapest as a physician and researcher, where he also completed his internal medicine specialization. In 1996, he worked as a research fellow at the University of Parma. From 1998, he was the founder and for more than 10 years the head of Goodwill Research Ltd., a company primarily engaged in pharmacological and clinical trials. He was co-founder and later managing director of the reorganized Svábhegy Pediatric Institute in 2007. In 2020, the Svábhegy Pediatric Institute was integrated into Doktor24 Medicina Plc., where he has since become a co-owner. In 2023, as managing director, he restructured Auxiliis Pharma Ltd., a company that had been involved in clinical research for decades and is currently focused on biomarker research. In addition, he returned to patient care as an internist and launched the Integrated Medicine Center, which is developing specialized competence centers in cooperation with Szent Magdolna Private Hospital. Since 2022, he has been leading the innovation and IT section of the healthcare division of the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ), and is a member of the division’s presidency.
