dr. Roland Dr. Simon-Vomberg, MD

Roland Simon-Vomberg, MD is a practising physician and healthcare manager/innovator whose work focuses on digital health, improving surgical and care delivery efficiency, and promoting a patient-centred, preventive approach. He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of General Medicine of the University of Szeged, writing his thesis on increasing surgical efficiency, and spent one year as a visiting student at the Medical University of Vienna. He did his residency training at the University of Szeged and is currently pursuing economics studies at Corvinus University of Budapest. In 2025, he joined the SurgeON team while also working on his own innovative digital health projects. He believes that well-implemented efficiency improvements yield not only clinical benefits but also measurable economic returns. His goal is to develop technology-driven solutions that tangibly enhance the performance of healthcare systems and improve the patient experience.
