dr. Attila Máté, MsC
Deputy Head of the Innovation and IT Section, Healthcare Division, National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ)
Attila Máté earned his first degree in law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Miskolc in 2001, and later obtained an MSc in Healthcare Management from the Faculty of Health and Public Services at Semmelweis University in 2012. He previously led the eHealth Working Group of the “Informatics for Society” Association and is currently a member of the Innovation and IT Section of the Healthcare Division of VOSZ (the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers).
Through his companies, he has contributed to the development of several national strategies, including the National Digitalization Strategy and the National Health Informatics Strategy, and has served as an expert for numerous national programs such as the Healthy Budapest Program, the Digital Wellbeing Program, and the Hungarian Genome Program. He has also participated in the planning of several nationwide healthcare system initiatives.
With his company, eHealth Software Solutions Ltd., which he owns and manages, he provides a wide range of services — including IT consulting, software development, and R&D — to state healthcare institutions, hospitals, universities, multinational and Hungarian healthcare corporations, as well as domestic start-ups.
He is currently implementing, in collaboration with a consortium directly funded by the European Union, a large-scale international project involving 18 countries, 49 enterprises and non-profit organizations, and the health ministries of five countries, aimed at developing a cross-border healthcare service system built on the infrastructure of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
