Dr. habil. Krisztina Bogos, PhD, MD

Krisztina Bogos, MD, PhD habil., specialist in pulmonology, internal medicine, and clinical oncology, has served as Director General of the National Korányi Institute for Pulmonology since 2020. Throughout her distinguished career spanning over three decades, she has made significant contributions to the advancement of modern diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in lung cancer care, as well as to the organization of healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her scientific activities are informed by extensive international experience, and she holds leadership positions in several national and international professional bodies. In recognition of her outstanding professional achievements, she was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary in 2022.
